Karl F. Arleth, President, Chief Executive Officer, & Director
Karl Arleth joined Teton in 2002 as a Director and became President and Chief Executive Officer in May 2003.  Mr. Arleth serves as Advisor on Teton’s Audit Committee.  Prior to Teton, Mr. Arleth was the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Sefton Resources, Inc., a London listed oil and gas exploration and production company. Between 1999 and 2001, he was an outside Director of Big Horn Resources, a Calgary based oil and gas company, now known as Enterra Energy Trust and President of a London based oil and gas independent. Ending in 1999, Mr. Arleth spent 21 years with Amoco and BP-Amoco. In 1998 he chaired the Board of the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) for BP-Amoco in Baku, Azerbaijan. Concurrently in 1997-1998, he was also President of Amoco Caspian Sea Petroleum Ltd. in Azerbaijan. In 1997, he served as Director of Strategic Planning for Amoco Corporations Worldwide Exploration and Production Sector in Chicago. From 1992 to 1996 Mr. Arleth was President of Amoco Poland Ltd. in Warsaw, Poland. Between 1977 and 1992, Mr. Arleth held positions with Amoco as an exploration and development geologist, project supervisor, manager and executive in Denver, Tulsa, Chicago and Houston. Mr. Arleth holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of California at Riverside and a Master of Science in Geology from San Diego State University.  He has also completed the Executive Developmental Program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Jim Woodcock joined Teton’s Board in 2002 as Director and has served as Chairman since February 2005.  Mr. Woodcock serves as Chairman on Teton’s Compensation Committee and is a member on the Company’s Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee. Since 1981, Mr. Woodcock has been the owner and Chief Executive Officer of Hy-Bon Engineering Company based in Midland, Texas. Hy-Bon is an engineering firm and manufacturer of vapor recovery, gas boosters, and casing pressure reduction systems for the oil industry.  From 1997 to 2002, Mr. Woodcock was the Chairman of Transrepublic Resources, a private oil and gas exploration firm located in Midland Texas. Since 1996, Mr. Woodcock has been a board member of Renovar Energy, a private waste to energy firm located in Midland Texas and served as Chairman from 1996 until 2003.

 

John T. Connor, Jr., Director
John Connor joined Teton’s Board in 2003 and serves as Chairman on the Company’s Audit Committee. Mr. Connor is the founder and portfolio manager of the Third Millennium Russia Fund, a US SEC-registered mutual fund specializing in the equities of Russian public companies. Mr. Connor has been General Counsel and a member of the management committee to PHH Corporation, a New York Stock Exchange-listed company. He also served as General Counsel to Micros Systems Inc., a NASDAQ listed company and served as a Director and Chairman of its Audit Committee. Mr. Connor was a lawyer at Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York City and a partner in other law firms in New York, Washington and New Jersey. Mr. Connor is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and was a member of the American Law Institute from 1984 to 2004. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Williams College and holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School.

 

Tom Conroy, Director
Tom Conroy joined Teton’s Board in 2002 and serves as Chairman on the Company’s Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee and serves as a member on the Company’s Audit and Compensation Committees. Mr. Conroy has previously served as Teton’s interim Chief Financial Officer from April 2002 until April 2003. Since August 2004, Mr. Conroy has been the Chairman of Mann-Conroy-Eisenberg & Assoc. LLC, a life insurance and reinsurance consulting firm. Prior to his position at Mann-Conroy-Eisenberg, Mr. Conroy spent 27 years with ING Reinsurance and its predecessor organizations, serving in various financial positions and serving as President in two of its strategic business units. As President of ING Reinsurance, he established their international presence, setting up facilities in The Netherlands, Bermuda, Ireland and Japan. He also served as an Officer and Board Member of Security Life of Denver Insurance Company and its subsidiaries. Mr. Conroy is a Certified Public Accountant with a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago.

 

Robert F. Bailey, Director
Bob Bailey joined Teton’s Board in July 2006 and serves as a member on the Company’s Audit and Compensation Committees. Mr. Bailey currently serves as President of R.F. Bailey Investments, an acquisitions and investment management vehicle and serves as a partner in B&F Exodus, Ltd., a private investment partnership. Mr. Bailey also serves as an Advisory Director at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. From 1994 until 2006, he served as Director for Cabot Oil and Gas Corporation, a NYSE listed company. From 1992 until 2002, Mr. Bailey was President and Chief Executive Officer of TransRepublic Resources a private oil and gas exploration firm located in Midland, Texas. Mr. Bailey is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering.

 

Bill I. Pennington, Director
Bill Pennington joined Teton’s Board of Directors in September 2007.  Mr. Pennington served as Teton’s Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President from June 2006 until September 2007.  Prior to working with Teton, he spent 17 years with Lomax Exploration Company which merged into Inland Resources Inc. in 1994 and was later sold to Newfield Exploration in August 2004.  While with Inland, Mr. Pennington served as Chief Financial Officer and was a member of the board at various times from 1994 to 2004.  He consolidated the Lomax companies before the merger with Inland Resources Inc. in 1994 and assisted in numerous capital transactions and the acquisitions of proved and unproved oil and gas properties. Mr. Pennington was instrumental in taking Inland Resources from a $10 million company to a $575 million market capitalization when it was sold to Newfield Exploration in 2004.  Mr. Pennington is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas where he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Lamar University.

 

Dominic Bazile, Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer
Dominic Bazile joined Teton in February 2007 as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President and recently became a Director. Mr. Bazile came to Teton after four years at Bill Barrett Corporation as Senior Vice President of Operations and Engineering.  While at Bill Barrett Corp., Mr. Bazile grew a technical and operational staff from one to 100 in four years and implemented annual budgets in excess of $300 million to grow production and reserves.  Mr. Bazile also played a key role in taking Bill Barrett Corp. public on the New York Stock Exchange, whose initial market capitalization was over $1 billion. Prior to Bill Barrett Corp., Mr. Bazile was a Drilling Manager at Barrett Resources Corporation where he oversaw all drilling, completions and workovers for the company. Mr. Bazile was an Area Engineer at Plains Petroleum before the company was acquired by Barrett Resources in 1996 where he was responsible for Permian Basin Assets.  Mr. Bazile began his career as a petroleum engineer with Gulf Oil Corporation in the gulf coast region.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University.
